For those enamored with fine dining, we offer a visit that presents a general menu of traditional Antigua products and recipes: Traditional lunch at the Porta Hotel Antigua and traditional candy tasting is included. This trip begins in the market to try our fruits: paterna, carambola (starfruit), zapote (custard apple), guanaba (guanabana), anona (soursop), aguacate (avocado); vegetables: huisquil (mango squash), guicoy (pumpkin); variety of chilies, chiltepe, chipilin and loroco; and medicine herbs: verdolaga (purslane), una de gato (cat's claw).
